Please select one of the following essay prompts. Your essay should be typed, in complete sentences with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation. The essay limit is 300-500 words.

Option 1: What do you think will be the most challenging part of participating in an international opportunity? How will you overcome these challenges? In which areas do you expect to grow as an individual?

Option 2: Most programs requires you to work closely with the same group of people for 10+ days. Describe a time you were part of a group (i.e. sports team, clubs, or summer camps). Try to predict what role you might take in your travel group. What do you need in order to be successful in a group setting for an extended period of time (i.e. do you need alone time, emotional support, words of encouragement, etc.).

Option 3: You'll be immersed in a culture and language unlike your own. Think of a time when you were confronted with a different culture in your home community, another part of the U.S., or abroad. How did that experience impact you? What did you learn from it?
