Way to Go! Awards & Green Mobility Party
June 5, 10 - 2 p.m., Statehouse on State Street, Montpelier

Event is free and open to the public

Each year, Way to Go! recognizes top performing schools for their continued action to practice green transportation. This year, 74 schools competed for the Carbon Cup and the Carbon Leader awards. Several lucky schools will win an awesome prize, including an AllEarth PowerFlower, 24 pair of Darn Tough socks, six QOR 360 active chairs, bike racks, and more, all made possible by program sponsors.

Grab a bag lunch and join school groups, innovative Vermont businesses, state officials and non-profit representatives on June 5th. Exhibits will open at 10:00 am on the Statehouse lawn and the awards ceremony will take place with dignitaries and winning school groups at 11:30 am in the Statehouse Chamber. We encourage all participating schools and others who are interested in battling single trip cars.

Solar, EV bikes demos and youth interactive activities will continue from noon to 2:00 p.m. Experience the party--celebrating the thousands of Vermonters choosing safe, efficient, and locally powered transportation options.
