Welcome to Wine Country Big Q – Sonoma County’s Premiere BBQ Event. We hope you will join us in our efforts to showcase great barbecue with this Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned competition at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in Petaluma. In an effort to educate the public, we strongly encourage that all teams participate in the Public Tasting. KCBS Rules and regulations will be enforced. This barbecue competition has applied for ToY (Team of the Year) Event! There are four separate competition categories (Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork, and Beef Brisket) plus a Mystery Meat class. To compete for Grand and Reserve Grand Champion, you must be entered in all four categories. Entry fee is $300, $275 if received by May 1, 2017. Space limited to the first 50 teams.

Registration includes for four staff passes and two vehicle passes.

**Registration fees are non-refundable after May 1, 2017.**

Do you need volunteer help during the Public Tasting?
VENDING SAMPLES - The Public Tasting/vending is an important part of this competition. Please let us know the approximate number of two-ounce samples you can provide:

POWER - We can provide power to a limited number of Teams. 20 amps power/110v is available for $25 per Team. Please let us know if you need power.
ICE - Big Q provides one 20# bag of ice per team. If you need additional ice, please let us know the number of bags needed. Additional bags of ice are $7 per 20# bag

With signature of this application, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Wine Country Big Q, Judy Groverman Walker, 4th District Agricultural Association, KCBS and their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me in this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to Wine Country Big Q or authorized agents to use any photographs, videos, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

All production rights, videotaping, photography or other method of capturing images or sound remain exclusively with Wine Country Big Q and it's agents.

I understand that there are a limited number of vendors able to participate in this event, and I understand that the sending of this application and payment does not guarantee my space into this event. You will be notified directly when your application, payment and insurance is received and accepted in this event. If for any reason your entry is not accepted your entry fee will be refunded within 30 days of this decision. An official copy of these terms shall be posted at all times on the event website (http://winecountrybigq.com) and may be updated from time to time without further notice.
