Structure: WoW camp delivers psychoeducation group work, based on therapeutic
interventions, in a fun, enjoyable & memorable way.
The WoW Camp is targeted at CYP aged 8-12 years (inclusive) enrolled
at a linked MHST educational setting. This age range is specified for 3
reasons:
- Captures
CYP who are likely to be at a transition stage in education.
- Allows the
same activities to run across the age group ensuring meets all CYP needs and
reducing the need for multiple activities to be run at once keeping staffing
levels safe.
- An age group that is most likely to be at home, rather
than out with friends, during holidays as too young to go out without parental
supervision.
- Based on
OFSTED and NSPCC guidelines.
- Please note siblings of children who do not attend an MHST school, or are outside of this age range may be considered to support some parental needs. This will depend on age and also the need of the child too.
Please note this is just a register of interest to assess numbers of people signing up to assist with our planning. This does not guarantee a place in the camp.
