Ways to get involved with FGS
Right now (early 2023), we are mostly looking for delivery drivers. Needs at the garden are being met by current volunteers, and sorting and packing are currently being filled by people who benefit from FGS. Volunteers who are also recipients of FGS will be prioritized.

Other ways we're looking for help:
  • Sunday: gardening at McRorie Community Garden, 9-11 am
  • Tuesday: Distribution day at the Civic Media Center. Sorting shift: 2-4 pm, Packing shift: 4-6 pm, Driving shift: 1.5 hour commitment
  • Special projects: Plan fundraisers and workshops, or help us build inroads with the communities we serve with mobile pantries!
