Your child's attendance at school is important. Teachers carefully plan and schedule lessons, experiences, and events to maximize each child's learning. Time spent out of the classroom means lost opportunities to learn. Please make illness the only reason for an absence or late arrival. Thank you for your investment in Valley View Academy.

It is the responsibility of parents to report absences to the school. Please submit a separate absence form for each child. All absences must be cleared/verified within 24 hours, or absence will be marked as "truant."

The following are EXCUSED absences: illness, medical appoints (Dr's note req'd), funeral
The following are UNEXCUSED absences: vacation, personal reasons, traffic
