F-List - Youth Industry Network Application

We're looking for 6 emerging artists and/or music industry professionals from Croydon, 6 from Darlington, and 6 from Wolverhampton to participate in a pioneering programme to develop new skills, local support and funding to boost their career. Does that sound like you? Read on...

What we're looking for:
  • Artists based in or around Croydon, Darlington, or Wolverhampton (you need to be able to attend bi-monthly meetings in one of the areas)
  • Artists aged 16-25 on 25th April 2025 (aged up to 30 if you have a disability)
  • Must be woman identifying or gender expansive artists - this includes all trans, non-binary and bigender artists
  • Must be an emerging artist or industry professional - not yet earning a sustainable income directly from music-related activities
  • Not studying or having studied music formally at university or higher education level
What you'll get for participating:
  • A £400 investment in your career to spend however you want to
  • Monthly in person meetings with artists from your city, guided by an expert
  • Monthly digital classes with all participants that are tailored to your needs
  • Support to develop your network and contacts in the areas you need
In total your commitment to the programme will be 2 hours a month from April 2025 - March 2026 (not including travel time)

Please provide an overview of 1-3 goals that you would like to achieve over the next year with your music project, and describe how this programme will support you in achieving them (300 words max)
Examples of goals are: to get a radio play, to release an EP, organise an event, manage an artist
Question 3: What do you think you can contribute to the local network?  (up to 200 words max)
This might be a specific skill, knowledge base, or personality trait that will support others in getting the most out of the network
