Windsong Entertainment, led by Liz Kamlet (Liz The Music Manager), is hiring a small, professional event team for a live performance at Wheeler Opera House featuring Stephen Bishop, Nelson Band, and David Pack. With special guest Ray Parker Jr.

This is a high-profile, two-night live music event. Applicants should be professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with artists, VIP guests, and the public. Hotel and transportation accommodations are not included.

Compensation

This is a paid, two-night live music event. Priority will be given to applicants who are available both Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, 2026. 

Event Compensation by Role

Photographer (1 position): $500 per night ($1,000 total for both event nights)

Personal Event & Production Assistants (2 positions): $400 per person, per night ($800 total per person)

Merchandise Sellers (4 positions): $200 per person, per night ($400 total per person)

Event Greeter & Audience Experience (2 positions): $150 per person, per night ($300 total per person)

Note: This position is technically a volunteer-track role but we wanted to compensate.


The event will conclude no later than 11:00 pm, with staff expected to be finished by approximately 10:30 pm.

Payment will be issued after each event via PayPal, Venmo, check, or wire transfer.

VIP Merchandise Sellers (4 Positions Available)

Location: Wheeler Opera House, Aspen, CO 

Dates: September 12 & 13, 2026 

Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Approx.) with a 1.5 hour break between soundcheck and showtime.

Rate: $400 total ($200/night per person)

Perks: Dinner provided each evening or a meal stipend, plus complimentary tour merchandise.

Role Overview

Windsong Entertainment is seeking a team of four (4) professional Merchandise Sellers for "The Wheeler Show" featuring Stephen Bishop, Nelson Band, and David Pack. We are looking for high-energy, reliable individuals to manage artist inventory and provide an upscale retail experience for our VIP guests.

Key Responsibilities

Full Setup (3:00 PM Start): Assist with load-in and the physical setup of merchandise tables, including creative displays and inventory "count-in."

Sales Excellence: Process transactions professionally using iPads and Square readers. Training is provided, but a high level of comfort with tech is required.

Inventory Control: Track stock levels throughout the night and assist with the final inventory "count-out" and secure pack-out after the show.

Fan Engagement: Provide a friendly, efficient, and professional experience for all fans and VIPs.

Requirements

Availability: Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to both nights (Sept 12 & 13).

Tech Savvy: Comfortable with iPad-based Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and Venmo QR codes.

Reliability: Detail-oriented, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Professionalism: Ability to represent the artists and Windsong Entertainment with a positive attitude.

Terms & Payment

Status: Independent Contractor (1099).

Payment: $200 flat rate issued per night via PayPal, Venmo, Check, or Wire Transfer.

Personal Event & Production Assistants (Contract - 2 positions)

Location: Wheeler Opera House, Aspen, CO 

Dates: September 12 & 13, 2026 

Shift: Starting at 2:00 PM (Ends approx. 30 mins post-show, 10:30pm). Also a 1.5 hour break between soundcheck and showtime.

Rate: $400 per person, per night (Flat fee) 

Perks:  Dinner provided each evening or a stipend.

Role Overview

Windsong Entertainment is seeking two Personal Event & Production Assistants to work closely with Liz Kamlet (Liz The Music Manager) and the production team. These roles are critical to the execution of "The Wheeler Show," providing support to legendary artists Stephen Bishop, Nelson Band, and David Pack, as well as managing artist and production logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Load-In & Setup (2:00 PM Start): Assist with load-in and the setup of production elements, including guitars, light gear, and merchandise.

Artist & Management Support: Provide direct assistance to artists and management to ensure a seamless backstage experience.

Problem Solving: Act as a "boots on the ground" runner for errands and on-site troubleshooting as it arises.

Breakdown: Assist with equipment load-out and venue restoration following the performance.

Requirements

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (primarily guitars and light gear).

Professionalism: High degree of discretion and a professional demeanor when interacting with high-profile artists.

Logistics: Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.

Experience: Prior experience in live music, event production, or luxury hospitality is strongly preferred.

Terms & Payment

Status: Independent Contractor (1099).

Attire: Professional all-black "Show Blacks" (unbranded) are required.

Payment: $400 flat rate issued per night via PayPal, Venmo, Check, or Wire Transfer.

Event Greeter & Audience Experience (2 Positions)

The Wheeler Show Location: Wheeler Opera House, Aspen, CO 

Dates: Sept 12 & 13, 2026 

Shift: 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM  (Approx.)

Rate: $150 per night (Flat fee inclusive of on-site time + post-production) 

Perks: Dinner provided each evening or a stipend.

Overview: Windsong Entertainment is seeking a professional Independent Contractor (1099) for a two-day music engagement featuring Stephen Bishop, Nelson Band, and David Pack. This is a Work-for-Hire role focused on capturing the energy of the event, from high-end fan interactions to exclusive backstage moments.

Compensation: $150 per night ($300 total) + Dinner provided. Note: This is technically a volunteer-track role, but we wanted to compensate.

Role Description: As an Event Greeter, you are the first point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for welcoming the audience and ensuring they have the necessary items to enjoy the performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Arrival & Welcome: Greet guests at the entrance and distribute event programs along with special Audience Interaction Items for the show.

In-Theater Assistance: Help guests with basic directions and maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the lobby.

Closing Support: Assist with the collection of the audience interaction  at the end of the show and perform a light sweep of theater aisles to ensure all event materials are gathered.

Status: Independent Contractor (1099).

Payment: $150 flat rate issued per night via PayPal, Venmo, Check, or Wire Transfer. 

Photographer (1 Position)

The Wheeler Show Location: Wheeler Opera House, Aspen, CO 

Dates: Sept 12 & 13, 2026 

Shift: 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM  (Approx.)

This is a Work-for-Hire role focused on capturing the energy of the event, from high-end fan interactions to exclusive backstage moments.

Scope of Work (Per Day):

Artist Backstage: 25 Edited Shots + corresponding RAWs

Venue/Stage Atmosphere: 25 Edited Shots + corresponding RAWs

Fan & Lifestyle: 25 Edited Shots + corresponding RAWs

Note: Performances will be professionally filmed; photography is for highlight stills. 

Venue Etiquette: Photographer must maintain a "fly on the wall" presence. You are expected to work discreetly backstage and be "invisible" within the crowd during the show to ensure no disruption to the audience or the professional film crew. No flash photography is permitted during performances.

Terms & Delivery:

Turnaround: All final assets (Edited + RAW) must be delivered within 10 days of the show.

Rights: Windsong Entertainment retains full ownership and rights to all images. Portfolio use is permitted only upon written approval.

Payment: Issued via PayPal, Venmo, Check, or Wire Transfer upon delivery and approval of final assets.
