Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Autism Society of San Diego (ASSD).  ASSD is a nonprofit affiliate of the Autism Society of America.  ASSD is dedicated to providing services and information to the Autism community which are legal, helpful and safe.  As a potential volunteer, you understand and agree that your involvement with ASSD is strictly as a volunteer, not employee or agent, and you shall receive no compensation or reimbursement of any nature and have no authority to act or communicate on behalf of ASSD unless explicitly authorized by ASSD.  By applying to volunteer you agree that whatever you do related to your volunteer work for ASSD shall be nondiscriminatory, legal, safe, and respectful and you will report any conduct and/or communication by you (or others of which you become aware) to the contrary.
