Initial interest / ideas for a "make" camp
I'd like to know if anyone is interested in a "library camp" where we created things, and if so, what it might look like!
When should it run, a weekend or across a couple of weekdays?
What time of year should it be? (tick as many as you want)
How much could it cost for 2 days?
It has to be free
£50 or less (no catering, no accomodation, minimal costs)
£100 or less (limited catering, no accomodation, probably be able to pay for a venue)
£200 or less (catered, cheap accomodation, pay for facilities)
between £200 and £300 (catered, possibly exclusive use of a venue including accomodation)
What would we create over the 2 days? (tick as many as you want)
Games for libraries
Some escape room kits / puzzles
Lesson plans / general library teaching materials
What area of the country should it be held in? Or does the venue matter more than its location?
What sort of venue would be best? (tick as many as you want, or add a suggestion under "other" if you want)
Dedicated venue we'd take over (e.g. country house!)
Space in a large training type venue or college / uni
Space in a larger but quirky venue (e.g. Gladstone's library)
I'd like to be emailed if Andy ever gets around to organising something like this... so this is my email address!
