Jewish Historical Press workshop
On 28-29 November, 2022, the National Library of Israel in partnership with the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania will hold a workshop in Vilnius dedicated to Jewish periodicals and the NLI's Historical Press platform.
The workshop will include practical applications, historical context, and a presentation of new material discovered in the LNB's collections by the Center of Judaic Studies. It will take place in the afternoons of two consecutive days and will conclude with a public lecture about the daily life of Jewish communities as seen through press.
The location of the workshop will be the LNB. Participation is free of charge but subject to registration, all study materials as well as refreshments will be provided. Reach out to olga.lempert@nli.org.il with any questions.
