#GreatInitiatives in Europe
EU for Trisomy 21 invites our Partner Organisations and all of those who want to become our Partners to participate in our #GreatInitiatives in Europe Conference in Brussels, Belgium, May 9&10 2022.

Through the success of our #GreatInitiatives Campaign for World Down Syndrome Day 2022, we decided to hold an In-Person event in Brussels at the European Parliament for our EU for Trisomy 21 Network. During this event we will feature the Winner of our Campaign as well as many other initiatives and organisations who are working hard to improve the lives of people with Trisomy 21 every day. This event will take place inside the European Parliament and will feature Best Practice Presentations, Workshops and and a chance for you to have meetings with Members of the European Parliament from your country. A valid identity document (an ID card or passport) is required to access the conferences held in the European Parliament buildings. Please note that it is not possible for individuals to visit the European Parliament without specifying the type of your ID document (ID card or passport). Once you are accepted as a participant we will reach out to get the ID/Passport number from you so you will be able to enter the Parliament.
COVID-19 Certificate *
Currently the COVID travel regulations for Belgium are the following: either a vaccination certificate (less than 5 months old) , a recovery certificate (less than 180 days old), a PCR test certificate (less than 72 hours old) or a RAT test result (less than 24 hours old). The Parliament will have the same kind of entry restrictions so please make sure you have one of the three and let us know here which you would be planning to use for our event.
