"आवाज़ " पहल देश भर के लोगों के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करने की एक पहल है, जिससे लेखक महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर अपनी भाषा में सहजता से बात कर सके और जनता के सामने अपने विचार रख सके। इस समुदाय को ऐसे प्लेटफॉर्म पर लाया जाएगा जहां क्षेत्रीय लेखक, संपादक और पाठक एक-दूसरे की मदद के साथ अधिक से अधिक अपने जीवन से रोचक कहानियां ला सकते हैं और अपने विचारों और अनुभवों को अपनी भाषा में एक अन्दरूनी जुड़ाव के साथ साझा कर सकते हैं।
कानून और न्याय से संबंधित मुद्दों को व्यक्त करने के लिए कुछ भाषाओं पर अत्यधिक निर्भरता (जैसे अंग्रेजी) ने अन्य भाषा बोलने वाली समुदायों के मुद्दों, कहानियों और अनुभवों को अदृश्य बना दिया है। किसी एक भाषा पर निर्भरता बाकी भाषाओं को मुख्यधारा में आने से रोक देती है जिसके कारण दूसरी भाषाओं का महत्व और प्रतिनिधित्व बहुत कम रह जाता है।
आवाज़ पहल के माध्यम से हमारा उद्देश्य क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में सामाजिक, राजनीतिक, कानूनी और न्याय से जुड़े मुद्दों के बारे में संवाद को व्यापक, एवं समावेशी बनाना है। चूँकि, बातचीत यूथ की आवाज़ (
Youth Ki Awaaz) पोर्टल पर होस्ट की जाएगी, लेकिन इस पहल में
Bar and Bench, Lawctopus, Manupatra Articles, Nyaaya और SCC Online Blog सहित अन्य भागीदारी संगठनों के द्वारा सहयोग प्राप्त करना एक संकेत है कि आने वाले समय में हम ज्यादा से ज्यादा भाषाओँ में अपनी प्रतिक्रियाएं और राय व्यक्त कर सकेंगे ।
"Awaaz" is an initiative to provide a platform for individuals across the country, to speak on issues that matter to them, in a language they feel close and comfortable with. This community will be curated on platforms wherein regional writers, editors, and readers can come together to help each other bring more stories, and share their ideas and lived experiences in their own voices.
The sole reliance on a few languages for the expression of issues pertaining to justice in, has led to the invisibilisation of stories of communities that speak other languages. This, in turn, takes away agency from the languages that are underrepresented and ignored by mainstream discourse.
Through Awaaz, we aim to exponentially increase the discourse around social, political and legal issues in regional languages. While the conversations will be hosted on Youth Ki Awaaz, this initiative is nourished by an ever-expanding network of partner organizations including Bar and Bench, Lawctopus, Manupatra Articles, Nyaaya and SCCOnline Blog wherein we aim to bring more stories and opinions in multiple languages in near future.
