Canton's 24-Hour Theatre
August 26-27th, 2022

Location: The Cultural Center for the Arts (located at 1001 Market Ave. N. Canton, Ohio 44702)

WRITERS: If you are selected to be a writer for this year's 24-Hour Theatre, you will work with a TEAM of writers who remain awake all night writing a 10-minute play to be performed live the following evening. Your creative team will have the opportunity to choose actors following auditions to create their stories around. You will be dismissed at 8:30am on Saturday, August 27th while your director spends the remainder of the day rehearsing and bringing your work to life. All members of the creative team will be welcomed back for the 8pm performance on August 27th!

DIRECTORS: If you are selected to be a director for this year's 24-Hour Theatre, you will utilize a 10-minute play created throughout the previous night to sculpt a performance with your actors throughout the next day. You will be dismissed at midnight on August 26th and will be asked to return at 8am on August 27th!

DEADLINE TO APPLY: August 1st, 2022
If chosen, you will be contacted on Tuesday, August 2nd!

If chosen for either of these roles, there will be a Writers/Directors meeting scheduled for August 22nd at 7pm at The Cultural Center for the Arts!
