I hear you! I felt this way a few years ago.
Two years before hitting my big 4-0, I was 30 pounds overweight, fat, unhappy and not at all fit. Hitting my heaviest weight, I finally decided to take my health and fitness seriously. I have since lost 25 pounds, kept it off, dropped several dress sizes, lost many inches, and even gained lean muscle. I am healthier, stronger, and fitter than I have ever been. I can now do things I could never do before. It has been a joyful fitness journey and lifestyle change. I now enjoy working out and hitting the gym, and I love eating clean. I’ve lost the weight, kept it off, and continue living a healthy lifestyle.
Wanting to share what I’ve learned, I’m offering a 4-session workshop to help you jump-start your fitness journey. In these four weeks, I will help to move more, eat mindfully, become truly motivated and committed to embracing a healthier lifestyle.
I am not a fitness trainer, or a nutritionist. At my heaviest, I really wished there would be someone who would guide me through this process. It was daunting and scary! While there are many trainers in the gym, I didn’t want someone who had always been fit and skinny. I wanted someone who understood the struggle of losing weight and getting fit. In the past, I never had a sport. I hated the gym. I used to be embarassed to dance or to run, because I always looked funny doing it. I didn’t feel confident in my body.
Doing it on my own, I made mistakes along the way, and learned the hard way.I diligently went to the gym. I geeked out on fitness, wellness and eating clean by reading and learning as much as I can. I came face-to-face with my own demons. And I finally learned to love my body and myself. From 5k runs to conquering mountains, wall climbing, boxing, zumba marathons, MixxedFit, Hiphop dance, spinning, bootcamp, and yoga classes, I’ve happily done it all. To my surprise, Good Housekeeping Philippines even featured my fitness journey in their November 2016 issue!
You can do it, too! And I want to help you get there and transform your life.
It is much more than just losing weight. It is a fitness journey. If you embrace it and give it your all, I can assure you it will be one of the most rewarding journeys of your life!

What we hope to achieve in these four weeks: 1. Become more mindful of your body as you hit your 40's 2. Create a healthy, active lifestyle that is sustainable for you3. Start eating clean and healthy food in a way that is sustainable for you. 4. Discover your triggers, your motivations, and what you're really capable of.
There will also be an opportunity to try Iyengar Yoga from Elena, a teacher of Sankalpa Yoga Studio.
