About the Forum:

The Forum for Mediterranean Young Women is organised by the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, in collaboration with other partners.

It will be held in Malta, Europe, between 2nd and 5th April 2020.

The Forum aspires to create opportunities and engage young women from the Mediterranean region, between the ages of 18 to 25 years, to build networks, access knowledge and skills and facilitate sustainable follow-up mechanisms (e.g. virtual mentoring program).

It aims to create a space for discussions between leaders, policymakers and young women with the purpose of empowering them for a more active role in the different dimensions of society.

The following content will be the basis for discussion during the Forum:

- Women’s participation in decision-making and leadership roles
- Women's access to job and employment opportunities
- The empowerment of young women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and Technology-related skills.

The Participation of confirmed attendee young women will be fully financed. Kindly note that, following your expression of interest, by filling in the form below, you will be notified whether you have been selected as participant.
