TRAVEL AND TOURISM IN COLUMBUS
Tourism is big business in Columbus, with an estimated annual economic impact of $9.7 billion generated by 39.9 million day and overnight visitors, sports and arts enthusiasts, convention attendees and business travelers. During this presentation, Brian Ross, Experience Columbus president and CEO, will share how Columbus competes for national conventions, sporting events and leisure visitors and what’s next as the city continues to rise as an emerging destination.

As president and CEO of Experience Columbus, Brian Ross is responsible for leading destination sales and marketing efforts to attract conventions, trade shows, meetings and leisure visitors to the Greater Columbus region.
Ross has set his sights on putting Columbus among the top three destinations in its competitive set and growing the local tourism economy, along with its widespread economic benefits to the entire community.
