On July 1st, the employees of Philadelphia's city workers union, District Council 33, will go on strike. These employees provide vital services to our city. They include the folks who pick up our trash, the emergency operators who answer the phone when you call 911, and the people who repair the streets you drive and the pipes that keep water running from the main to your tap. If your child has ever been kept safe by a crossing guard or stopped into a library to check out a book for a project or use the computer then they've been served by a member of DC33. This city needs us but the current administration doesn't believe we deserve fair compensation for the work we do. We're going to show them there is no Philly without DC33.
This form is for anyone not in the DC33 union that would like to assist us in our strike. There are a lot of ways you can help. This form is just to get better of who wants to help and how. Thank you for your support!
