This event is FREE and open to the PUBLIC. Registration is required. Vendor spaces are available.
The Hinds County Children's Coalition comprises individuals, organizations, and agency representatives committed to the well-being of children and families in the county. This diverse group includes law enforcement representatives, child welfare and juvenile justice advocates, mental health professionals, persons with lived experiences, policymakers, and members of the educational and medical communities.
The coalition works closely with the Hinds County Youth Court to identify needs, resources, and strategies to improve the lives of children and families in the county.
About the Hinds County Children's Coalition:
The Hinds County Children's Coalition is a collaborative initiative dedicated to addressing the comprehensive needs of children and youth impacted by the juvenile justice system in Hinds County. The coalition actively seeks to develop impactful programming for youth and families by supporting a wide range of wraparound services and initiatives, empowering the community to drive prevention, diversion, and youth welfare efforts championed by the Hinds County Youth Court.
