I undertake, as much as possible, to:

- Avoid air travel and favor environmentally-friendly modes of transport when traveling to and from a vacation, such as train, public transport and carpooling. 
- Calculate and even contribute to offsetting my carbon footprint
- Recycle as much as possible, both at my home and at my host's home
- Choose local restaurants over fast-food chains
- Share my favorite local places and shops with my guests
- Abide by your host’s responsible habits while at their home
- Visit local markets and support local businesses and artisans in the areas I'm exploring
- Respect the culture, traditions, and habits of my exchange partners
- Interact with locals and show respect in all circumstances
- Opt for activities that respect the environment and animal welfare
- Favor walking, cycling, or public transport on a daily basis
- Use reusable products and avoid plastic where possible
