Rep. Joaquin Castro and fellow members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are requesting public submissions for songs or albums from Latino artists that should be nominated for the National Recording Registry. The National Recording Registry is a federal archive managed by the Library of Congress that works to preserve sounds with historic and aesthetic significance and/or importance to life in the United States.
Submissions may be a song OR an album. To qualify for nomination, songs or albums must be at least ten years old.
