MACMUN 2021 Internal Delegate Application Form

Welcome to the application for McMaster Model United Nation's 6th annual Conference, MACMUN 2021! MACMUN is a jam-packed 3 day conference, hosting 200+ delegates from both McMaster and universities across Canada, role-playing various countries and debating some of the most pressing global issues. Our theme for this year's conference is "Fostering Resilience". The conference will take place from March 12th - 14th, 2020, beginning Friday afternoon and ending Sunday evening.

As we adapt to the rapidly changing COVID-19 pandemic, McMaster Model United Nations has made the decision to transition to a virtual platform for this year's conference. While we always prefer inviting our delegates to participate in in-person debates, our adoption of a virtual conference platform is more accessible and more affordable. Did we mention MACMUN 2021 is completely FREE? That's right, FREE! We know it has been a challenging time for many students and we want to ensure that cost is not a barrier for anyone wishing to participate in this year's conference.

This year, we are proud to partner with to host MACMUN 2021! Gatherly is an interactive conference simulation platform that allows you to "walk" around, chat with delegates and staff, and interact with our various guest speakers and sponsors. It really is just like the real thing! For more information about Gatherly, please visit

Registration grants you access to the following events during the conference:
- Friday: Opening Ceremonies featuring a keynote speaker (TBA) and a virtual reception with networking opportunities with McMaster faculty members and our Sponsors
- 3 days worth of exhilarating debate and meaningful discussions of past and present world issues and humanitarian crises
