The Creating a Path to Success Program (C.A.P.S.) allows a select group of college students to participate at the CHCC’s Annual Convention and provides participants with practical skills to help them grow as successful leaders and/or entrepreneurs in their community. The program provides participants with useful skills, and provides networking and educational opportunities with successful entrepreneurs, corporate representatives, non-profit representatives, and elected officials. All participants of the C.A.P.S. program will be provided with paid hotel, meals, and travel (if needed).
Must be a Sophomore or higher as of August of 2018 or Fall semester/quarter of 2018
All trips are mandatory, please plan to attend the following dates:
Bakersfield Trip: April 20th - 22nd
Orange County Trip: July 6th - 8th
Los Angeles Trip: August 21st - 25th
If there is a scheduling conflict with your school or work, the CHCC can provide a letter excusing you etc…
If selected to move on to the second round you will be contacted by a member of our Leadership Team to conduct a phone interview.
