Digital Card Application
Due to the Fort Madison Public Library being closed to the public, we are now offering people the opportunity to sign up for a digital library card.

A digital library card will work as a temporary card that will allow you to use our digital materials – eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming services, databases, and other resources - until the library is able to re-open to the public.

Once the card expires, digital cardholders will need to come to the library with a photo ID and proof of address and get a new physical card to continue accessing on-line resources as well as gain access to physical library resources.

How it works:

Fill out the form below.
A Fort Madison Public Library representative will reach out via email in the next two business days with instructions on how to start using your card.

NOTE: If you already have a Fort Madison Public Library card, you do not need a digital card to access digital materials. This is a new way for people to sign up for a library card without being present in a building.

If you are having issues with an existing Fort Madison Public Library account, you can either e-mail sarahclen@fortmadison.lib.ia.us or call the library at (319) 372-5721 and ask for Sarah.
