CEFGA Connect - Construction Pipeline Project Locations
The CEFGA Connect initiative is coordinating state-wide industry employment for students enrolled in construction and metals classes. This work is being done in partnership with the GA Dept. of Economic Development - High Demand Career Initiative Construction Task Force, GADOE (Work Based Learning), Technical College System of Georgia, SkillsUSA, YouScience, CEFGA's K12 Pipeline, and multiple trade associations.

One of the primary challenges in building our workforce pipeline is job-site mobility. CEFGA will use the information provided to match local talent out of CEFGA's K12 Pipeline and Technical College System of GA to your local projects.

CEFGA would like to provide employers the opportunity to interview and hire students/graduates on-site at the 2018 CareerExpo and locally through April and May. Many candidates will be 18+ and ready for full-time work. Others will be 16-17 and looking for summer work and Work Based Learning opportunities when they return to school. CEFGA can train your HR personnel on how to hire these students legally and even receive a Workers' Comp incentive to do so. If your company would like to participate, please fill out the information below. You may contact Zach Fields, (CEFGA Director of School Relations, fields@cefga.org) with questions.
