Office of Student Conduct: Committee Application Form 2017 - 2018
This application is for students who are interested in serving on the Student Conduct (SCC) and/or Academic Integrity (AIC) Committee(s). Applications for the spring semester are currently being accepted through January 12, 2018. Interviews will be conducted the week of January 15th. Training is required for all committee members and will be offered January 25th and January 31st for the spring semester.

Membership Requirements:
Students in good academic (2.0 or above) and conduct standing, not on disciplinary probation or have outstanding disciplinary sanctions.

Hearings are scheduled Wednesdays: 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm, Thursdays: 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm and Fridays: 9 am to 12 pm, as needed. Lunch and Learn training opportunities are offered three times during the spring semester.

Membership Expectations:

Serve on a hearing committee at least twice a month (as needed) to maintain eligibility.
Schedule course work and other obligations in order to be available for hearings and training.
Uphold high standards for your own behavior, on and off campus.
Protect the confidential nature of Conduct and Academic Integrity cases at all times.
Become knowledgeable about all aspects of the Student Code of Conduct.
Attending annual training as well as training offered throughout the academic year.

Membership Benefits:
All members of the Office of Student Conduct Committee earn service learning hours for their time dedicated to training and hearing cases. All members will receive a certificate at the end of the academic year in recognition of service. Membership on the committee provides leadership opportunities.
