Accreditation:  ASEAN Public Relations Accredited (APRA)

The objective of the Accreditation Program;

The objective of this program is to support Public Relations practitioners and communication professionals to better understand and have new perspectives of current and future communication strategies and tactics in Asian regions. The participant will have the benefit from expanding their network as well as learning from reputable facilitators from different countries. The program will cover areas such as new trends of PR issues, strategic writing, stakeholder analysis, ethics and law related to the PR profession, media relations, crisis communication and many more.

1.     Fill in the online registration form
2.     Send all the supporting documents to event@aseanprnetwork.org
  • Your latest CV or portfolio
  • Accreditation registration form
  • Recent Photograph (4 x 6 cm)
  • One (1) Page Summary : This summary includes brief summary about current or previous job, in which company and which position alongside about the work, you may mention your achievement or big projects or your speciality.
  • Required Documents Based on the Category Selected
3.     Make a Payment (cash or transfer)

4.     Complete activities:
-        Join a conference, congress, seminar or workshop that related to Public Relations.
-        Present the results of the program to the Board of Examiners.
-        Sign a statement to comply with the APRN Code of Conducts

5.     Get the Accreditation Degree

Qualifications:
  1. Must be a PR Practitioner, PR Enthusiast or studying Public Relations
  2. Must have experience in any field in Public Relations.
  3. Must submit an updated Portfolio if any, it could be any activities related to PR and must write a maximum one (1) page summary of your experiences in any PR activities that you have done or accomplished.

ACCREDITATION CATEGORIES
1.   Accreditation for PR Practitioners
MECHANISM:
  1. Complete the Accreditation in Public Relations Application
  2. Submit a certification of employment
  3. Submit a recommendation letter from employer
  4. Submit a written professional portfolio
  5. Sign the APRN Code of Ethics
  6. Sit for a panel presentation and interview
  7. Receive the Accreditation Certificate

2.   Accreditation for PR Educators  
MECHANISM:
  1. Complete the Accreditation in Public Relations Application
  2. Submit a certification of employment
  3. Submit a recommendation letter from school/university
  4. Submit a written professional portfolio
  5. Sign the APRN Code of Ethics
  6. Sit for a panel presentation and interview
  7. Receive the Accreditation Certificate

3.   Accreditation for Universities/Schools  
MECHANISM:
  1. Complete the Accreditation for Universities/Schools Application
  2. Submit evidence of accreditation from the Ministry/Department of Higher Education
  3. Submit a brief profile with information of faculty members in the department of PR and Communications, PR curriculum and subjects offered, industry collaborations, international partnerships, academic excellence achievement of students, employability of graduates relevant to the field, and any other evidence that the board of accreditation assessors may require
  4. Accreditation assessors conduct a visit for verification
  5. Receive the Accreditation Certificate
