Parent participation on the Creekside Swim Team is extremely fun and community orientated, but requires a significant commitment from our swimmers’ families. Our swim meets and social/fundraising events rely on family participation in order to take place and run smoothly and successfully.
Family Participation Requirements
Regular Season: Families will be required to earn 12-18 (still TBD after registration closes March 29) volunteer points during the regular swim season. Assignments are roles like being a timer, selling snacks, assisting with event set up (see
here for complete list). Families will also be required to provide a $200 check to ensure their volunteer requirements are met. Your check will be cashed if you do not complete an assignment (or find a replacement), and you will be required to provide another $200 check before your swimmer can participate again, if a check is cashed.
Champs: In addition to regular season requirements, you will be required to provide an $250 check to ensure volunteer assignments are met at Champs (our end of season Championship meet). Please note, each team is given Champs volunteer assignments based on our stated attendance. If you commit to attending, but then have a change of plans, you will need to find a replacement or your check will be cashed.
