Summer Camp 2020 Feedback
Hello families! Like all of you, SteppingStone Theatre is planning for a different summer experience than we have previously offered. Please take a minute to share your current thinking about summer camp for you and your children. We will ultimately rely on the evidence-based recommendations of Governor Walz, the CDC, and our youth theatre partners in the Twin Cities to make the safest decisions we can. Our goal is to have the flexibility to offer online or modified in-person camps (limited class size and no class mingling) in response to changes in health directives.

My child(ren) is registered for camp in:
June
July
August
My child(ren) is going into the following grade in the fall:
Pre-School (18 mo.) to Kindergarten
Grades 1-3
Grades 4-6
Grades 7-12
Because of COVID-19, I would ONLY send my child to an in-person theatre camp if the maximum enrollment were limited to:
15
10
5
Fewer than 5
COVID has not affected my opinion on class size
I am not comfortable with any in-person classes
Considering COVID-19, when do you expect to feel comfortable sending your child to an in-person theatre camp?
Within a month (Beginning of June)
2 months (Beginning of July)
3 months (beginning of August)
By the beginning of the next school year
Within 6 months
More than 6 months
Please indicate in the chart below the precautions you would expect from SteppingStone Theatre if we are able to host IN-PERSON camps.

If in-person classes are NOT an option, would your child attend engaging virtual sessions that include online, realtime, connection with classmates & teachers and offline optional teacher-guided "theatre challenges" to extend learning? Class sizes would be small to ensure conversation, connection, and active participation.
Yes, that sounds awesome!
No, thank you.
Maybe
My concerns with virtual learning would be:
Wi-Fi
Access to a device for class
Too much screen time for my child
Cost
Conflicts with work schedule
Concerns with educational value
Other:
With virtual learning, how much time would be appropriate for "engaged" online time (i.e. have a Teaching Artist facilitating discussion & activity)?
15 minutes or less, once per day
20-30 minutes, once per day
45-60 minutes, once per day
more than 60 minutes, once per day
20-30 minutes, twice per day, morning and afternoon
45-60 minutes, twice per day, morning and afternoon
If virtual learning IS an option for your family, what factors will be important to your decision-making?
