NEXT STEPS: a climate solutions walk Registration
Join us April 5-9, 2019, for a five-day walk for climate justice. During the five days we’ll use our collective strength, as well as our connections with each other and the land, to deepen our knowledge of the climate emergency, celebrate solutions, and discuss ways to support and sustain next steps. You can join us for one day, five days, or a few days, according to your ability. We acknowledge this is the original homeland of the Abenaki people. In solidarity with the indigenous people of the area, we hope to join them as stewards of this place.

The walk will begin in Middlebury, and will wind its way through Bristol, Hinesburg, Richmond, and Middlesex. Along the way we’ll see parts of the pipeline route, meet people and organizations who are implementing climate solutions, and lend a hand. We'll finish with an action in Montpelier to call for a ban on fossil fuel pipelines.

Suggested Registration Costs: Registration is on a sliding scale, and no-one will be turned away for lack of funds. According to your capacity, and so that we are able to cover costs, we recommend contributing one of the following options: $25/Day (student/lower income), $50/Day (middle income) $100/Day (higher income/wealth). Please contribute generously so we are able to increase our collective impact!
