SASE STEM Connect 2025 Collegiate Day of Volunteer (DOV) Application Form

Thank you for your interest in being a Day of Volunteer (DOV) for the STEM Connect 2025 (SC2025)! If selected and based on number of applications, we will contact you with confirmation of duties and training expectations towards mid September. 

Please complete this form to the best of your ability by AUGUST 20TH @11:59PM (PT)! 

DOV Expectations

  • A full description of each role can be found in this SASE SC2025 Day of Volunteer Information Packet 
  • DOVs will be required to volunteer for at least 2 hours to receive benefits 
  • Time block scheduling will be dependent on applicant indicated availability and role requirement; if willing, DOVs may volunteer for more than 2 hours
  • Once chosen as a DOV, you will be asked to attend a virtual training(s) to better familiarize yourself with on site convention expectations, your fellow DOVs, the NC Logistics team, etc. You MUST attend these trainings in order to volunteer for SASE SC 2025.

DOV Benefits

  • Introductory experience SASE volunteering without the time commitment of a year long position
  • Collaborate alongside other volunteers from around the nation
  • Network with professionals from sponsoring companies
  • Work behind-the-scenes to see how a National Convention is run to build your SASE experience!
  • DOVs will receive a 25% discount code to use toward NC registration. Meals, flights and hotel costs are not included, unless otherwise specified. A guideline of benefits per applicant is also in the NC 2024 DOV document above. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER UNTIL YOU ARE ACCEPTED/DECLINED AS A VOLUNTEER. 
  • Selected DOVs who have already registered prior to DOV confirmed acceptance will be reimbursed for 25% of the cost of your collegiate registration upon completion of responsibilities as opposed to receiving a pre-registration discount code.
  • If you have been registered under a chapter pack and are selected to be DOV, the chapter that originally paid for your registration will be reimbursed for 25% of the cost of your collegiate ticket upon completion of responsibilities. Please coordinate with your chapter payer accordingly if you are confirmed to be a DOV and paid through a chapter pack!

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so the sooner you submit your form, the better!
The final deadline for on-site volunteer applications is AUGUST 20TH@11:59PM (PT).
