MeckPathways High School Internship Interest Form - Summer 2026

Thanks for your interest in applying for the MeckPathways high school internship program for Summer 2026.  As an intern for Mecklenburg County, you’ll gain exposure to the real world, make important connections through our vast network of professionals, and gain a competitive edge that makes you standout. If you are civic-minded and want to make an impact in our community, this is the opportunity for you.  Students who are placed will earn $15 an hour!  After completion and submission of this Google form you will be given a direct link where you can apply for the MeckPathways program.  This link will be found in the Google Form confirmation that you will receive immediately after submitting this form.

The order in which applications are received will play a factor in potential placement, so don't wait until the last minute to apply!

Applicant Requirement:

  1. Applicant must be a current or rising CMS high school junior or senior
  2. Minimum Age: 16 years old by April 3, 2026
  3. Must have a Social Security Number

You will upload your essay and personal recommendation letter in the Mecklenburg County job application link.  You will receive the application link immediately upon submission of this Google form.
