Hearts: The Gathering Casting Call
This is a casting call for Hearts: The Gathering using "These Cards Have Hearts" by t0urmaline (Which can be found here).   BIMPOC creators and other marginalized groups will be prioritized and are encouraged to apply.  Applications will be accepted until the end of 12/31/23.

Hearts: The Gathering may feature themes of Competitive burnout, Toxic behavior in a gaming context,

All games on Bard Rock Cafe and networked shows use lines and veils, session 0, as well as the X card as safety tools by default.  Additional safety tools will be used based on player needs and desires.

These Cards Have Hearts by t0urmaline (Which can be found here) is a tabletop role-playing game about card games and friendship. You will play as someone who cares way too much about a children's card game challenging a tournament that has a dark secret that could change the world. Fight against friends and rivals using your Heart, Skill, Luck, and Money. No matter who wins, the real winner is usually friendship.

In Hearts: The Gathering, the cast will be players from a Local Game Store who are selected to represent the store in their officially sponsored team at the competitive level. They will explore what it means to play Magic: The Gathering competitively, while also unraveling darker secrets about the world at large.
