Thank you for your interest in serving as substitute nursery staff at Resurrection Lutheran Church! Please read through the following responsibilities and qualifications before completing the application.

This is a paid position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide age-appropriate care including feeding, changing diapers, escorting children to and from the bathroom, maintaining a safe environment, holding or sitting with and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, music, and play.
*Supervise and ensure the safety of the children within the nursery.
*Maintain the nursery in good order, including straightening and light cleaning.
*Interact positively and professionally with children and families.
*Work collaboratively with other nursery staff and with volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Availability on Sundays between 8:00 AM to noon, as needed. Shifts are usually for one service and/or Learning Hour. Additional opportunities for work may be available to subs during special services and events.
*Experience in caring for children from birth to four years of age.
*Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. (Church will arrange for training if training is not current.)
*Ability to pass a background check.
*At least 18 years of age.
