SY 2026-2027 In-School Youth Year- Round  Program Application

PROGRAM INFORMATION
The In-School Youth Year-Round Program is open to students currently enrolled in Guam High Schools and are in the 11th Grade. The students' eligibility will be determined by household income and other factors. 

Eligible participants will be expected to participate the Employability Workshops. After completion, the participant will subsequently engage in the Work Experience training component relevant to their career interests. 

PURPOSE
To provide In-School Youth a Year-Round Work Experience activity during intersession partnership with private sector work sponsors through the "In-School Youth Year-Round Program."  This program provides Youth with occupational skills training in the Winter, Spring, and Summer intersessions. The work experience activity will expose Youth to the world of work, through hands-on training by learning work readiness skills while experiencing the day-to-day demands of the work environment.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be attending High School as a Junior
  • Meets Lower Living Standard Income Levels (LLSIL) and/or receiving Public Assistance 
  • AND one or more of the following:
  1. Basic Skills Deficient 
  2. English Language Learner
  3. Justice-Involved Youth
  4. Homeless or Runaway Youth
  5. Currently in Foster Care or aged out of Foster Care
  6. Pregnant or Parenting Teen
  7. An individual with a disability

  • Identification (Official School ID, Driver's License, Guam ID, Passport, Military ID, OR Birth Certificate) 
  • Social Security Card
  • High School Transcripts, ACT Aspire Test Results, Progress Report, OR Report Card 
  • Household Income (2025 Filed Tax Statement, Verification of Employment with Salary Information, 2 months of check stubs, OR Self Employment Filed Tax Document)
  • Other income sources (Child Support, Disability Social Security Income, Retirement/Pension)
