What we do? Classroom Connections of ECI is a nonprofit that provides support services only to qualifying East Central Indiana educators who serve the most vulnerable classrooms of children in need.

What counties we serve? Educators must work in the following counties: Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph and Wayne.

Who qualifies? East Central Indiana educators teaching in a classroom where the majority of students are children of low-income families.

*K-12 School: You must teach at a school building where 50% or more of the student population is eligible to receive the national free and reduced cost school lunches. Student teachers must shop with their assigned full-time teacher. No substitute teachers.

*Early Childhood Educators: You must teach at a facility where 50% or more of the families served are low-income, and this is commonly measured by the eligibility of the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) voucher program. Early childhood educators must also work at a facility where teaching is happening and the provider is striving for or has received a Paths to Quality (PTQ) level 3 or level 4 designation. Lead teachers, directors, and providers only.

*Out-of-school time Educators: You qualify if the majority of children served attend a qualifying K-12 school(s). Lead teachers/directors only.
