Learn to code with Teknowledge! Teknowledge’s after-school program starts this Fall, hosted at Obama Academy! The program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays after school, 4:00-5:00 PM, room 201, starting Monday, September 24th. Teaching coding through engaging activities and personal mentorship.
Coding is the closest thing we have to a superpower. It enables ideas to come to life.
You will learn the power of coding by using a newly developed curriculum from CMU! Through this curriculum you will learn the basics of Python, and learn how to create simple animations and games! Learning will be done primarily through engaging mentorship (one mentor per every 3-5 students) and is led by Carnegie Mellon students and alumni.
Teknowledge is preferred for students in 6th through 8th grade!
