This form will help us expedite the process of funeral practices at ICGA Cemetery located to serve the Central Texas region. Please submit only one form for the deceased and have one main point-of-contact that is authorized to deal with these matters. In most counties, it’s easier to have a family member to deal with the death, but we will do everything possible to help. All activities are done by volunteers at ICGA Cemetery. Please include as much information as info as you know, and one of our volunteers will reach out shortly.
ICGA Cemetery operates as a non-profit. The following must be paid by the families and must be included in any burial.
1- Burial to the digger that is paid directly by the family in the amount of $600 with cash or check.
2- If applicable, any mortuary costs that are incurred by a third-party. This is billed and paid directly to them.
3- If applicable, any transportation costs that are billed/paid by an entity not associated with ICGA Cemetery. This is billed and paid directly to them.
4- Donation that allows to pay for material used in the burial and upkeep of the cemetery.
We will do our best to expedite any request. Some things to remember:-Burials can typically happen only in the daylight hours. There is not much we can do after evening hours or overnight and must wait until the following day.
-Retrieval of the body can be delayed by a morgue, hospital, hospice, medical examiner or county. Different counties have various procedures.
-We do not have a site to accept bodies overnight or delivery of a body without proper notification.
-Legal paperwork must be approved prior to accepting any body and assigning as grave site. It's imperative this is done quickly and we can't start the process of burial without filing required legal paperwork.
-ICGA Funeral Volunteers don't deal with any organizations at all. Families MUST sign the agreement and follow our burial procedures.
