Hello! Thank you for applying to be a student representative!
Student Year Representatives collect feedback from fellow students about life at the RNCM, talk to staff in committee meetings about what can be done to improve things and communicate outcomes with peers.
Each year group has a team of representatives (including at least one Popular Music student), but only one Classical and one Pop rep from each year are required per meeting. Even if you cannot/are not attending a committee meeting, reps are still expected to collect feedback from their year group.
This is a great opportunity to express the student voice on new ideas and strategies suggested by staff members, for example changes to the curriculum. The feedback you provide is crucial to enhancing the quality of the RNCM's academic programmes, principal study tuition and the overall student experience. Your feedback is valued, listened to and acted upon - your voice really matters!
Students from all year groups, courses and schools of study are encouraged to apply. It's important that we, as students, give feedback to staff on all the courses that RNCM offers.
