Using the Standards Based Rubrics (SBR) gives me a sense of how I am truly performing in the creation of art.

Having the SBR broken into 4 sections (Execution, Composition, Character, and Critique) gives me an honest sense of areas that I am succeeding in as well as areas that I a might need to spend more time focusing on.

Through Self Assessment (Self Grading) prior to Teacher Assessment I take the opportunity to honestly look back on my process and product and honestly reflect on my technical skill development, compositional development, and appropriate use of time in the studio.
