Section 2: ROCKY POINT DRAGON BOATING WAIVER
Please read this WAIVER then acknowledge your agreement by providing your digital signature.
SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:I acknowledge that I have been advised that I must wear a personal flotation device (pfd) while participating in paddling activities. Instruction as to the proper use of the pfd is available from the Operator. I am aware that the physical exertion required of paddling activities and the forces exerted on the body can activate or aggravate pre-existing physical injuries, conditions, symptoms or congenital defects. I have been advised to seek medical advice if I know or suspect that my physical condition may be incompatible with paddling activities. *

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT.  BY AGREEING YOU WILL WAIVE ALL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
TO: Rocky Point Dragon Boating,  The Old Mill Boat House, the City of Port Moody and its directors, officers, employees, representatives, volunteers, and agents(collectively called "the Agents")
In this agreement:
I hereby acknowledge this agreement on behalf of myself, my personal representative, heirs and assigns.
   1.  The term "dragon boat activities" shall include all activities, events or services provided, arranged, organized, sponsored or authorized by "the Agents" including, but not limited to Try it: Dragon Boating, Introduction to Dragon Boating,  Learn to Paddle, Drop In Sessions, and Team Training (collectively referred to as "the Activities") and in further consideration of "the Agents" allowing me to do so, that I will strictly be bound by the terms of the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk and the Indemnity Agreement ("the Agreement").

   2.  I acknowledge that "the Activities" involve inherent risk and dangers that may cause serious injury and possible death to participants.

   3.  I fully understand the risks and dangers associated with my participation in " the Activities" and accept same entirely at my own risk.

   4.  I hereby waive any and all claims which I or my heirs, next of kin, executors,  administrators, may have against "the Agent" and release "the Agents" from all liability for injury, death, property damage or any other loss sustained by me as a  result of my participation in "the Activities", due to any cause whatsoever; including negligence, breach of contract , or breach or any statutory or other duty of care by "the Agents". 
   5.  I appreciate that "the Agreement" limits the liability of "the Agents" to the same extent as it limits the liability of "the Agents" even though "the Agents" are not formal parties  to "the Agreement".
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND 'THE AGREEMENT I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A PROMISE NOT TO SUE " THE AGENTS" AND THAT IT CONSTITUTES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY FOR ALL CLAIMS. *

We want to draw your attention to the fact dragon boating like all sports has some risk.  By participating in our programs offered by Rocky Point Dragon Boating you acknowledge and accept that water sports in general carry certain risks of injury, including but not limited to drowning, hypothermia, concussion or other physical injury, and potential transmission of illness from other participants.
