Online Royal Oak Employee/Non-Resident Library Card Application
The Royal Oak Public Library (ROPL) will issue cards to employees of companies that are resident in the city of Royal Oak. The card may be used only at the ROPL and registration must be renewed annually. Depending on your city of residence, you may be eligible to visit your home library for a card with full consortium privileges that may also be used at ROPL.
ROPL also offers non-resident cards for purchase for those who do not work or live in Royal Oak but who would still like to access ROPL resources. The fee for a non-resident library card is $100.00 per person for one year. This allows access to ROPL's services but not reciprocal privileges at other TLN libraries. Please send a check for the required amount to Royal Oak Public Library, Attn: Adrienne Breznau, 222 E. 11 Mile Rd., Royal Oak, MI 48067
During the pandemic closure, card numbers will be sent via email (if provided) and library cards will be mailed to your Home Address. If the card is returned undelivered, the card number will be blocked and electronic proof of address will be required.
