Over the past seven years, we have worked with a lot of amazing children across Northern Ireland and we have forged strong relationships with schools, organisations and policy-makers in our mission to make educational support accessible to everyone who needs it.
We have had a lot of parents asking us for more help in the areas of careers and employability for young people. We have heard your requests and we are very excited to announce that we have partnered with JMC Career Coach to bring you a new programme focusing on preparing young people for their future. This is a six week programme, covering specific topics such as dreams and ambitions, employability, job satisfaction, CV writing and an introduction to LinkedIn and the job market.
We are aware that young people are expected to engage in career workshops in school; this can come with a mixture of emotions! This programme will be extremely different as we focus on building young people up! A programme about their future should be something they want to engage with; we want them to think about the wide range of options available and help them to broaden their horizons.
Your feedback is a vital part of how we deliver this course and we want parents to have a voice on what they believe is beneficial for their children; this is why we need your help!
