PRACTICE- students use their existing art skills in their own way. New art skills were not taught.
DEVELOPMENT- students are trained in and assessed on standards based art skills or concepts.
ENHANCEMENT- The arts are used to improve or augment the core content. Student engagement is the goal.
INTEGRATION-students are trained in standards based art skills/ concepts and then demonstrate their understanding of both the art form and core content knowledge through the art form.
