Thank you for your interest in the CCAT Connected and Automated Transportation Certificate Program.
The program will begin during the Winter 2025 semester and students will have until the end of the Fall 2025 semester to pass
at least four modules. Registration is open from 11/15/2024 through 12/15/2024. This course is free and available to senior-level undergraduate and graduate engineering students who are currently enrolled at one of the CCAT consortium schools including:
- The University of Akron
- Central State University
- The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- The University of Michigan
- The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
- Northwestern University
- Purdue University
- The University of Wisconsin-Madison
The program includes five modules led by Professors from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and the University of Wisconsin-Madison covering the following topics:
- Fundamentals for Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) Modeling
(Instructors: Professor Xiaopeng (Shaw) Li and Keke Long) - Automated Vehicles and the Law
(Instructor: Professor Tifani Sadek) - Cybersecurity for Connected and Automated Vehicles
(Instructors: Professor Z. Morley Mao and Dr. Andre Weimerskirch) - Dynamics and Control of Connected Vehicles
(Instructor: Professor Gabor Orosz) - Machine Learning Methods for Connected and Automated Transportation
(Instructor: Professor Neda Masoud)
Each module will be delivered via pre-recorded videos, quizzes, and more. Lecturers will also provide virtual office hours once per semester. Upon completion, you will receive a digital certificate from the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation (CCAT).
