This years 3 Pickle Categories are:

Lacto-Fermented Pickles
Vinegar Pickles
JUNIOR (18 and Under) Pickles (lacto or vinegar)

All pickles must be brought by you or a representative to The West River Community Project, between July 20th and August 1st. At the front of the store, there is a labeled FinAllie Ferments cooler to put your pickle entries so we know whose is whose. Drop off Mon-Friday 9am-6pm

Official Pickle Judging will occur during the week before the event and winners will be announced at 1:00PM on August 8th at the Townshend Commons after the Pickle Day begins.

*Note that the categories to enter have changed. This year, we are accepting CUCUMBER PICKLES ONLY.

I understand that in order to be eligible for prizes, my pickles must be in a sealed container and I will label my pickles with the following information:

I will submit mystery pickles and donate my prize money to a local farmer

I understand that all pickles must be brought to the West Townshend Country Store between 9:00AM-12PM July20th-August 1st there will be a clearly marked cooler on the porch

Pickle entrees can be delivered to Retreat Farm Market Store in Brattleboro 400 linden street and placed in the FinAllie Ferments refrigerator during business hours July20th-August 1st. The Retreat Farm Market is open 10-6 Monday-Sunday closed Tuesdays.

Official Pickle Judging will occur August 4th at FinAllie Ferments Kitchen by official FinAllie Ferments Staff. winners will be announced at 1:00PM at Pickle Day on the Townshend Commons. If you win and you are not able to attend pickle day we will contact you and make arrangements to save your prize to pick up at the Retreat Farm Market.

I will drop off my pickles at a designated time and location.
