Join educators from San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties for a collaborative, no-cost professional learning training in partnership with the Asian American Education Project. This event is designed to deepen educators’ understanding of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AAPIDA) history and to provide practical strategies for meaningfully integrating AAPIDA history and heritage into classroom instruction.
The training will be held at the San Mateo County Office of Education on Tuesday, October 27th and is free to attend, with complimentary meals provided. In addition, districts may be reimbursed for substitute costs, provided they coordinate the reimbursement process with their respective county offices.
This event is presented in partnership with SFUSD, San Mateo County Office of Education (SMCOE), Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE), and the Asian American Education Project, and is generously sponsored by Cathay Bank.
