Fall is quickly approaching and the Pumpkins are growing rapidly, waiting for someone to give them a home! Our Pumpkin Patch Field Trips will be more exciting and educational than ever this year with several enhancements including the expanded Farm Kids Activity Area featuring a squash tunnel, a hay pyramid, games and activities. Also new this year is the tractor-pulled hay ride, a fun farm tour including one of our pumpkin growing field and corn maze.
Field trips can also include the huge Pumpkin Patch, Kid's Patch, Danny's Farm Petting Farm and the popular Corn Maze with hidden surprises and a fun game to play.
Please read the information below carefully as it will explain what we offer, our prices, and answer some of the questions that you might have.

NOTE: School Groups - Teacher and 1 Aide per Class Complimentary for Petting Farm and Corn Maze & Hay Wagon Ride, Pumpkins not Included. Groups wanting to participate in all 4 activities should allow a minimum of 2 hours.

We have improved the reservation process to make it easier to book a field trip. You can now view trip availability with our on-line calendar and submit your request using the reservation form. Field Trips for 2017 will be conducted on the following dates:

WHAT WILL WE BE ABLE TO DO?Lots! 2017 is the 25th year for the Cal Poly Pumpkin Patch and field trips will be more entertaining and fun than ever. The Pumpkin Patch covers almost 5 acres with more Pumpkins than you can count. Field Trips include a visit to either the huge patch where you can select a pumpkin of any size or the popular Kids Patch. We have expanded the popular Farm Kids Ag Activity Area with larger Squash Tunnels, a Hay Pyramid, Games and other Activities.
The Petting Farm is a great opportunity to interact with and learn about farm animals and includes additional activities. The Corn Maze is full of twisting paths designed to confuse and confound, but be assured - there is a way out! We also have picnic areas with tables available on a first come basis.
WHAT IS THE TOUR LENGTH?A typical Pumpkin Patch Field Trip takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the activities you choose and if you will take a snack or lunch break. Picnic tables are provided on a first-come basis. We request that you Arrive 15 minutes Before your start time to allow for check-in.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?Buses and cars will be provided with Free parking, directions and information will be provided in advance. Look for signs upon entering AGriscapes.
DO YOU REQUIRE LIABILITY WAIVER FORMS?Yes, all field trip participants including adults must fill out and return the Liability Waiver form that will be provided with your confirmation e-mail. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow those without the completed forms to participate.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?Payment can be made with Cash, Check (Payable to the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation) or Credit Card. Check and Credit Card refunds are not possible.
CAN WE PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PUMPKINS?Aboulutely!. Very often parents and others accompanying field trips will purchase additional pumpkins from the field.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU OFFER IN OCTOBER?October is PumpkinFest at Cal Poly Pomona. We kick things off with our Family Fun Pumpkin Festival - October 7th & 8th where the entire 20 acre AGRIscapes Center is filed with Music, Animals, Great Food, Contests, Exhibits, the Corn Maze and lots of Pumpkins! The Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze will continue until October 31st with the Petting Farm available on weekends.
