Selection criteria
Our funding for bursaries is limited and we would like to prioritize those who face significant challenges in accessing resources and opportunities within the research community. We acknowledge that disparities among participants arise from a variety of factors, including language barriers, career stages, employment status, access to funding, and institutional support.
In our evaluation process, we will consider several key elements, such as the unfunded status of early career researchers and PhD students, individuals in precarious employment, unfunded activists and members of civil society organisations, and persons from the Global South and the Global East.
In the event that the number of applicants meeting these criteria exceeds the available funding, we will implement a first-come, first-served basis for awarding support.
If you have any questions or believe that the selection criteria do not fully capture your unique circumstances, yet you feel you may still be eligible to apply for a bursary within the outlined framework, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at resist.wp5@napier.ac.uk
