Youth Mental Health First Aid: Zoom Training
Take a free Youth Mental Health First Aid course and learn how to assess and support children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use challenges. During the training you will learn and practice how to use the 5-step action plan to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.

Just as CPR training prepares people without medical backgrounds to help someone who is having a heart attack, the Program trains adults to help youth who are at risk of developing a mental health problem or who are going through a mental health crisis.

The course is divided into 2 days:
Part 1: Tuesday, November 30th from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm.
Part 2: Wednesday, December 1st from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm.

* Please note: 2-hour self-paced pre-work MUST BE COMPLETED before the zoom class.

Mental Health First Aid training is funded by the King County Mental Illness and Drug Dependency (MIDD). The course and course materials are included (a $170 value per participant).

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registered, you will get an email introduction from the class instructor, Dr. Danit Erlich (Ph.D.).

If the number of registrations for the training exceeds the maximum seats available, you would be added to the waiting list.
